I really wish I could hear the talk on the 5/1 canon, as I’ve published on it in both English and Japanese (and I’m curious to see how research has progressed in the last few years) and to see the 大大論 caricature, which appears at the end of a register on paper related to copying a commentary, really brings Shōsōin documents to life, and is on display in Nara:
